The kingswaylodge.on.ca is the first of an exciting new project to help bring new tools to the lodges and members of those lodges.
 
The complete Kingsway website you are viewing requires no management.
 
The District site news is updated live from the THV District site automatically. Any news added to that site is displayed here.
 
The Calendar works in the same manner. Any events added to the District calendar display live within this site. Your summons could be available for download via the attachments in the calendar event itself.
 
The Kingsway tab which displays officers, committees, past masters, history and location are all updated via the District site, and display in a similar fashion on the district site under your lodge, and as the officers update their profile on the district site, your site will reflect the changes.
 
The Home page displays a contact us form that e-mails the information  to the secretary and/or the lodge rep selected on the district site.
 
The 'Latest Kingsway Updates' portion of the site (on the Home page) enables anyone you want to give access in your lodge, the ability to update the news via their mobile phones.
 
All a user has to do, is select the application on their phone, type in the newest update that they would like displayed on the site (e.g. "Remember brethren, there is a practice this Sunday at 1:00pm") and send the update. The information will immediately be available on the site, showing who sent the news or update. It works much like Blackberry Messenger.
 
Outside of the management your lodge rep will already have to do for the district site, the only thing your lodge will have to worry about to keep your website both relevant and fresh, is sending regular updates via their mobile phones!
 
You can do this during general business as the announcements are made, and then the brethren can check the site at a later date for a reminder.
 
This will ensure your site is both useful and up to date.
